Spoiler Synopsis/Synopsis

Tsukasa, in 784 BC, saves a boy from falling off a cliff. Tsukasa discovers that the boy was being tested for his Buddhist faith when she asks him why he did it. Tsukasa throws the boy up the cliff and then falls to her demise.

Seven years later, the boy goes to his uncle’s home (Ato no Ootari). He recognizes his angel. Ato questions the what “Nee-sama”The boy, named Saeki no Mao (Kukai), explains what happened. The boy, Saeki no Mao(Kukai), explains the events. Ato decides Tsukasa can become Mao’s teacher in Confucius.

Tsukasa is teaching Mao and tells him her only wish: to become mortal. She scolds her for his poor penmanship. Tsukasa is not sure what he really meant.

Wow. Wow. Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 249 to go into a massive flashback. I’m pretty sure I saw Mao in one of the splash pages. The theme seems related to what Tsukasa has said about Himari. As she puts it, when she saves a kid, it doesn’t go well. The chapter will prove her wrong, but I’m not sure how, since this Mao child is a real, historical Japanese figure. I could be wrong ’cause I know nothing about Saeki no Mao.

It is always interesting to see part of Tsukasa’s past, especially in her relationships with historical, Japanese figures. I am interested in learning more about Tsukasa’s past, especially her relationships with historical Japanese figures. However, I was kinda into the Himari x Asimo flirtations, so I guess that’s on hold for a while. Oh well.

Final Thoughts & Conclusion

The end is near Tonikaku Cawaii Chapter 249 is an unexpected, deep flashback into Tsukasa’s past. We’ll see how this story reflects on how Tsukasa saved Himari.
