You are not exactly picking it up again. You are watching a movie.

I don't think I would do . If it's good then I might end up watching episode. So I am picking up Naruto

I haven't seen this yet, but between the manga and video game covering the movie I kind of don't have the need to watch it, at least not anytime soon.

Would you say this movie has something the other adaptations don't?

I have watched the clips of the video games and they kind of cover what happens in the movie. The only thing you'll be missing out is the action. Watch these three scenes alone:
Spoiler :
Sasuke vs Momoshiki, which is the starting scene of the movie;
Momoshiki and Kinshiki's attack on Konoha, which takes place at the end of the second act; and
Sasuke and Naruto vs Kinshiki, which is the final fight and is incredible.
