Not communist, but socialist........And, India isn't fully 'capitalist' because old people are still under the opinion that socialism is the way forward, even if you tell them that it led to the collapse of Soviet Union, and it almost led to the collapse of Indian economy in the 1990's.....And, India was slightly de-regulated and was liberalised during 1991......But, most of the premier institutions that take part in recommending policies are (unfortunately) dictated by leftists......So, it'll take a few years to carry out more liberalisations, etc., in India, because the mind set of the people from the previous generation has to be changed........But, the new government that came last year is right-leaning, economically, so, it is slowly cleansing every institution of Socialists, and Marxists.........
