OnePiecePodcast Wrote:One Piece fan and avid collector, Le Dok’–known in the One Piece community for his videos and images showing his thousands of , , figurines, , , and more–announced that he’ll be organizing a small-scale One Piece “exhibition” in Québec, Canada.
After collecting all these One Piece drawings and merchandise, his next goal is to bring these to the public in a way that isn’t doable via the Internet, which is why he started planning a small exhibition that will occur at from April 17 to April 19.
At Nadeshicon, he will be sharing around thirty framed character model sheets, an extra 300-500 model sheets in binders to flip through, his original drawings (genga), cell drawings, figurines and dioramas. If you want to get an idea of how it might look like, be sure to check out the video on his website .
When we reached out to Le Dok’ regarding the exhibition, he had the following to say:
Quote:I believe the purpose of a collection is not to keep it locked in a room out of jealousy or selfishness, but to share it with as many people as possible, hence my desire to create a mobile miniature exhibition that would be adaptable to any theme since I possess over 10,000 items of all different kinds.Le Dok’ started his huge One Piece collection by collecting mostly anime and manga-related drawings. He then expanded his search to include figurines. His collection now encompasses over 4,000 character model sheets! Le Dok’ mentioned that even at 40 years old, he can still enjoy One Piece and it actually even “keeps him young”, obviously a sign that he is indeed a true One Piece fan–if the enormous collection wasn’t already a testament to that.
