No.... I'm not asking makers to include violent things to make it suitable for adults..... And, I never insinuated that violent things draw adult audiences..... I'm saying that if you want adult things, make it R-rated..... Don't censor it just to get a G rating..... Otherwise, don't include it at all......

But senpai, why not censor it when there is so much scope that might get popular in younger audience as well.

Well, problem is, R-rating is the cool thing now, there's hardly any G-rated movies any more..... It's just PG or PG-13 or R.... Hell, Inside Out was rated PG, and Casino Royale was rated PG-13.... I'm not just critiquing the American rating system, the rating system here in India is also obscure, and absurd.....

It means:
"PG – Parental Guidance Suggested
Some material may not be suitable for children. Parents urged to give "parental guidance". May contain some material parents might not like for their young children."

American brats are totally spoiled. Japanese kids can handle mild gore in animeunlike cartoons

That's cool senpai.
Then people can actually choose what they might like for their children. Anime got that too like seinen but they don't restrict people from watching seinen anime.

graphically speaking, the anime is much more horrifying than the manga, since the manga is mainly black and white, you can see that it's gorey, but the details are not as you have seen in Hellsing Ultimate, the animation is much more stable. one thing is added tho, the manga is less offensive verbally, they cuss much less in the manga XD
I don't know why mangakas don't censor words in their works. Did they cover everything in the anime?

you have to understand that Seinen Manga is targeting a much older audience.... i can say in all honesty that the Anime version of Hellsing Ultimate is much more Verbally abusive than the Manga, in his works Hirano Kouta uses much more curse words in all but Hellsing, i can actually say that Hellsing Ultimate is very eloquent and calm compared to his other Manga's... you have to understand that there is a level of curse words, like in Naruto he curses a lot, and this is shounen pg13, and he uses the mild ones like Baka, Yaro, Tonkachi, Busuu... those are really mild and actually used in many angry situations or teasing your friend... while the more disrespecting ones are used in Seinen, there are so many ways to describe a certain person in an abusive way in Japanese that sometimes you won't even know that it's a curse word since they actually censor it in the translations, but i don't mind the curse words, they just show the character of the character.

I just read this... i have to say, even though, some things might have a great scope for younger Audiances, this is not the case here, in Hellsing and in many other Anime's the stories are just too comlex and well horrible even for 13 year olds to understand... let's put Elfen lied as a great exmple! the issue in that story is soo deeply rooted in how our sociey behaves that even 18 and 19 year olds didn't understand the story. it's not about how they rate Anime's it's how mature you really are to understand the depth of the story, and like i told Nel, the gore, Violence and curse words are just add ons for the completion of a great story
