It is definitely worth checking out.

thank you bro xD
you are hard to please my man.
what is the best anime, according to you, in terms of plot and story development?

If we talk TV series, then I would like to think that I haven't seen the one with best plot ^^' There are series with great plot elements. Like FMA, there are some pretty great parts in terms of story. But I can't praise the whole show for that, cause the story was dragged out over 50 episodes and it stuffed up with filler material. Angel Beats has a great idea for its story, but the execution could have been better.
From shorter anime I'd pick first episode of Megazone 23 OVA. There are also lots of anime that may not have anything outstanding in terms of plot twists and such, but they do exactly what they want with their story, use it perfectly as a tool to build what they want to have in the show. Look at FLCL, Akira, movies by Satoshi Kon, Hayao Miyazaki or other directors known for their excellence.

Very hard question, I need to think over all the books I've read. And I don't remember well the ones I've read long time ago, so it is even harder. Out of popular books I've read a good candidate would be Lord of the Rings, because of how the story made it possible to highlight that almost flawless fantasy world Tolkin created, without making the book boring. It is an example of how to use your story to accomplish the goals of your book. But there are many other very different books that managed to do something interesting with their plot. It would require a lot of thinking to answer your question =)

Also I will still be hesitant to answer cause I don't think I'm a well-read person. Most of the serious books I've read in my early teen years, I have been reading way less since then. So yeah, very hard question, I don't think I'll give you an answer Tongue But I can say if I would attempt to, I would most likely look among books.

I like that show a lot, but it is definitely not the best in terms of plot Grin I think it is really good at world building, especially if you consider it together with the original Slayers novels. But it is really easy to criticize Slayers plot =)

Well, my opinion is more or less the same as you, except that I am still reading........
